In order to enjoy sushi, you must first learn to make it. One of the most common ways to Prepare sushi is in "rolls". There are 9 simple steps to making a roll.
Cook your rice
Prepare fish and anything else you want inside of your roll
Put Nori(seaweed) on bamboo mat, with the shinier side down
Add rice vinegar to rice
Wet your hands, spread rice on nori leaving a small size gap(1 inch or so) without rice at the top
Place chosen ingredients in center of rice
Roll the sushi with the bamboo mat
Wet your knife, cut roll into desired size
Eat and thank me
To properly enjoy sushi, there are a few extra things that should(but aren’t necessarily necessary) be added.
This includes wasabi, the Japanese form of horseradish. Wasabi is a spicy ingredient that adds a nice flavor to your sushi.
Another yummy addition is soy sauce. Soy sauce is a salty sauce that adds a nice taste to the fish when added in moderation. To properly eat sushi with soy sauce, it is recommended that you dip only the fish in, rather than both the fish and the rice.
